My story !

My name is Karine,

I am a French craftswoman. I live just a few kilometers from the Atlantic coast, close to magnificent and very touristy places. My small workshop is located in the countryside, in a region surrounded by vineyards which gives us the juice for a world-famous and coveted alcohol.

I discovered the world of Blythe dolls in 2015. Captivated by their big eyes, I started to learn about them. After just a few weeks, my office corner was no longer large enough to accommodate the equipment needed for customization! My first doll was born from my hands in 2016. She is still with me. 73 other dolls were born and found loving homes. For health reasons I put carving aside. Since then, I have devoted myself entirely to knitting and sewing.

Self-taught, I, with great determination and patience, realized a little girl's dream: that of creating for our collectible dolls this world which had made me dream so much as a child.

From a very young age, I was lulled by television series, focused on the values of friendship, love and fraternity... By readings representing a harmonious, romantic world... The beauty, the delicacy of these illustrated characters, surrounded by nature and animals, fascinated me, a safe universe where it was good to take refuge.

Mademoiselle Lylou's seams are made with the greatest attention and detail by me, Karine.

Original, unique clothes, imagined and revisited, letting my creative spirit and my little girl memories express themselves.

Everything is important: the choice of fabrics, from cotton to noble materials, from small brass accessories to old French lace that I like to look for here and there...

A manufacturing process that requires thought, time, patience and being yourself!
