My story

My name is Karine,
I am a French artisan. I live just a few kilometers from the Atlantic coast, near beautiful and very touristy places. My small workshop is located in the countryside, in a region surrounded by vineyards that give us the juice for a world-renowned and coveted spirit.
I discovered the world of Blythe dolls in 2015. Captivated by their big eyes, I started to learn about them. After only a few weeks, my desk corner was no longer big enough to accommodate the material needed for customization! My first doll was born from my hands in 2016. She is still with me. 73 other dolls have seen the light of day and found loving homes. For health reasons, I put carving aside. Since then, I have dedicated myself entirely to knitting and sewing.
Self-taught, with a lot of determination and patience, I fulfilled a little girl's dream: to create for our collector dolls the world that had made me dream so much as a child.
From a young age, I was cradled by television series focused on values of friendship, love, and fraternity... By readings representing a harmonious, romantic world... The beauty and delicacy of these illustrated characters, surrounded by nature and animals, fascinated me, a safe universe where it was good to take refuge.
Mademoiselle Lylou's sewing creations are made with the greatest care and meticulousness by me, Karine.
Original, unique garments, imagined and revisited, letting my creative spirit and my childhood memories express themselves.
Everything is important: the choice of fabrics, from cotton to noble materials, from small brass accessories to old French laces that I like to seek out here and there.
A manufacturing process that requires thought, time, patience, and being yourself!
